lemmy.world is pretty awful and defederation is always on the table, though there might be a mod tool I can create that’d calm down the firehose by quite a bit
also yeah lemmy’s modlogs really need filtering by default. I got bamboozled a few days ago into thinking we had a big influx of banned users, but it was just lemmy.world’s ban list merging with ours in the UI

A lot of the firehose is coming from .world has open signups, I think? If so, I wouldn’t think it will get any better.
Also lmao @ lemmy modlog, it’s exposed to users but your actions are mixed with mods of federated servers with no way to tell which is which.
