Bling for their favorite game. Storage organizers are also very useful if they have several expansions for a game.

Women want him, men want to be him.
Speed up, left, left, speed down, right, right. Plop
I actually found a copy of risk at a garage sale. It’s in great condition, but missing the rules
Woah thanks for that. I’ll check it out. It was definitely an experience to play. I’d love to be able to dedicate a day to it again, especially with my Netrunner group.
Definitely, the concept of a cyberpunk murder mystery is very cool. When you play it, you definitely feel like you’re in a blade runner like story. It’s just the mechanics are fiddly and the game is definitely weighed down by its complexity.
Basically yeah, it’s hard to get to the table because it’s a massive commitment. Also the rules are pretty crazy, you really need to have several people know the rules otherwise you’ll probably be missing things. It was definitely a cool experience though, just one that’s hard to get to the table since I either play with my family (who would never play a game this heavy) or friends who are typically busy with kids so we need to keep games under 2 hours.
The most complex game I’ve ever played was the original Android game from FFG. That game is some kind of crazy fever dream. It’s a cyberpunk mystery inspired by Blade Runner. It has 8 different playable characters, each with their own unique rules. I only managed to get it to the table once and we weren’t even able to finish it. It was definitely a very unique and interesting board game experience.
Yeah that’s what was surprising. I read that this game specifically discourages gambling, but like you said, maybe they were just making sure they don’t get their hands slapped
Never played, but thought it was interesting that it’s not played for money. More importantly playing it for money is viewed as being in very poor taste.
That seems quite useful
Guy is a legend
Usually not. I feel like the randomness and complexity in video games is hard to recreate in the boardgame medium. If you end up simplifying those mechanics the game ends up being a worse version of something that already exists.
Our family usually packs Sushi Go and No Thanks when traveling
That’s the way I do it, although I have a custom script that generates the symlinks for me. Not sure why I’d need anything more
Anybody play any of these games?
I’ve heard good things about viticulture, but the only worker placement game in my collection is Manhattan Project: Energy Empire. Really fun worker placement that also uses dice. Really nice components too.
Those are some very interesting features. Love the defer stuff. One of the few golang features I actually like.
I played this with 5 players. It was fun, but I did find it somewhat limiting and was constantly wishing I was not as constrained by the rules, but I guess that’s part of the game.
Seems like an interesting concept
