Cool stuff. The paintjob or coating you used makes it look really professional.
I use blender for all my 3D printing stuff. It might not be the most beginner friendly but its a great tool to know and use once you have some experience with it.
I once used it to design a 3D printed lamp thing and then also used blender to simulate the lighting effect of light passing through thin white filament.
But yeah if you need to edit down to the polygons, then its great.
Same with them but they are not nearly as well known for their scummy behaviour and going after harmless projects.
Is the “nintendo” community not about Nintendo??? Why would i go to another community that is unrelated to nintendo, to complain about the disgusting and destructive company that Nintendo is?
Nintendo is asshoe anyway. Nobodi like nintendoofus.
That helps to reinforce the print. Tactical nozzle deposition.
Cleaning up the print with some sandpaper might have made a big difference or is that paint chunks on the surface?
Pretty cool print either way tho :)
The whole print process video is embedded in the article… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfWryED7Zrk It really is just a big 3D printer. At first i thought the walls were like 90% air with no infill but it looks like they fill them up with rebar and cement. So really its just a thing that prints unique molds to pour concrete into so not really “a 3D printed building”
Im afraid it would just be a thing that makes perfectly straight lines :(
I like the idea and not to to ruin the fun, but i doubt a printed container like that will keep your filament dry and isolated from the ambient air.
Absolutely no clue about star trek but this sounds fun :)
Thats pretty amazing tbh. You could call that art imo. Like in some philosophical “Building yourself back up after failure” type of way
This is an amazing tip tbh. Never thought of using it for that.
