Mine came today too. Loving it so far. Will have to figure out what I want to do with the bottoms over the weekend .

Instant buy for me. I loved this game. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Looking forward to trying the new characters.
First to mind is Tim Fowers. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve played by him. New game with his name on it? Gimme…
I dig Drinkbox as well, based totally on the two Guacamelee games…
NStW is fun so far. I like the art style quite a bit. It has their usual goofiness in there. Being able to switch forms to different characters is cool, and there’s a very interesting mix. I just unlocked the ability to change into an egg. I’ve certainly never seen that before.
The combat is just OK. It gets a little samey after awhile. While I really like the different forms, I’ve got enough unlocked now, I’m forgetting what options I have. I think that could have been pared back a bit to a fewer choices. And with the ability to mix and match powers between the forms, they can start to feel similar, which defeats the purpose of having them. But minor nitpicks. Overall, well worth it so far.
I just finished Pictooi on my switch a few weeks ago, and was jonesing for some more grid puzzles. And when I saw there was a Sega Picross, I jumped right on that. I’ll eventually have to go back and play the other ones, as I’m really liking this. I did also get Murder by Numbers last week I think when Steam had a sale for like $5. Haven’t played yet, but that’ll be in the near future. I’m hoping I can play that one on my Steamdeck, not that I go very far these days. But upstairs can still count as playing on the go, I think.
Working through Nobody Saves the World on my PC and just started the Sega Picross game on my Switch.
Wow, that enclosure is awesome. The print’s very nice as well.
I just finished my MK4 build yesterday and was blown away by how well it worked with no dialing in. As close to push a button and print as I’ve ever come across yet.
Looking forward to more prints and tweaking this weekend.
Played a few rounds of Thunder Road Vendetta, finally breaking out the Choppe Shoppe expansion. Such a fun game if you can deal with unexpected chaos.
And as usual a few rounds of Unmatched. I’ve just got Doctor Strange left to play and I’ve played everyone at least once.
Great list. Flashpoint semi replaced Pandemic for our group for a short period of time. I love the theme of that one. Some really excellent expansions for that one too. Who doesn’t want to be a fire fighting dog?
Same here. I’ve got a whole shelf just of his games. He’s got so many interesting ideas.
I don’t have Paperback, but I did get the solo deck builder Paperback Adventures and think it’s awesome.
Love, love, love Burgle Bros 1 and 2.
We have also been playing lots of Hanabi lately and having a blast (pun intended)
Friday is a great little card game that plays fairly quick and can get tossed in a backpack easily.
This is pretty close to my process too. I also try to play at least a few turns of a dummy game against myself after reading the rules, just to get a vibe of how turns go.
I think I played this game once back when I first got it.
Of course, now I have to see if the app still works on any of my devices so that I can keep not getting around to playing it.
Just as a caution, I did go download the Windows app off their website just to have a copy laying around in case I need it.
Big fan of the Burgle Bros app. It made me realize that was playing the physical game wrong in a few ways.
Runner up is Fury of Dracula. It’s the only way I get to play that one, since none of my gaming crew wants to play it with me…
Official 3 player rules were introduced in the first Marvel set, I think it was. But they are online if you don’t have any of those sets.
My game group plays 3 almost exclusively.
Great game. So many fun combinations of characters. We just did Houdini vs Dr Strange vs Spider-Man last weekend.
Yeah, I’m thinking Metroid as well…
But then I saw Tunic on a decent sale, so maybe I’ll do that instead. Or maybe I should finish one of the many other PC games in the backlog first… Just too much entertainment to get to.
Exactly what I did. Highly recommended.
Been playing a lot of Pictooi lately. I’ve got a few more puzzles to wrap up and then I’ll be done with the normal mode (unless theres some secret unlocks).
After that, it’s either the Metroid Prime remaster or Advance Wars Re-Boot.
I love Burgle Bros 1 and 2 for coop gaming. Fun theme and working out plans together is a blast.
I’ve been playing lots of Hanabi lately too.
I really want to have a button be a power off command so when I’m done for the day, I can just smack that and walk away.
But I know the cat will walk on it at an inopportune time.
