Not new, I think it was even one of the first during the initial explosion of lemmy apps. I like it because it looks different compared to most of the other apps out there that look like Apollo clones (including Voyager).

I tried nba2k once when I got free 3 months of apple arcade. Aside from not being able to play properly on a small interface with no physical keys or buttons, my phone got incredibly hot after 15 mins of playing. That’s far from being the best game console.

Encountered some weird bugs immediately after the update. The wifi and cellular icons at the top disappeared and only appeared when an app is opened. It got fixed after I restarted my phone one more time. Then the volume slider wouldn’t go down to full 0. It only actually went down when I moved the brightness slider. Weird stuff but everything is ok now (I think) after a reboot.

I’m currently a “Principal” which is the next level up from Senior. Honestly I’m pretty happy with my current title because it’s a pretty good balance between pay and responsibilities. The next step up is also fine with me (Senior Principal) because that means another pay bump, but it will probably where I’d want to stop advancing.

Like a lot of people, the goal is to be paid the highest possible with the fewest responsibilities. I’m not interested in taking a managerial/supervisory career track because that just adds responsibilities and politics. I’m happy being an individual contributor so I just need to worry about my own work and that’s it.
