In the sense that AI is an extremely general term that involves many different technologies, yes. Generative AI/LLMs are not true AGI, which is what people think it is. It cannot think, it cannot learn, it can only predict.

People are so insistent that it’s ai that it all reminds me of Blockchain. It’s new! It’ll change everything!
It’ll change some things. What we are seeing now is business forcing it into everything when really, right now, there are only a handful of things it makes sense to use.
It’s really great at giving you a starting point a very rough outline of something. That is the easy part. The hard part is turning that into something new and coherent, and for that I think modern AI is nowhere close. That needs a human
Ah that makes sense. That’s when I’d start using it myself. Self hosted models and audio
Great, but it’s restrictive only letting you use openai and google. I’m already hosting oogabooga text generation, let me use that
Problem with all of these solutions is replication and standing back up in case everything crashes. I had that issue running fma and lxcs with apps on proxmox, it’s a ton of overhead with proxmox.
Ultimately it’s just easier to run docker on a VM and back up that one VM, or even easier the docker volumes. If anything crashes I just take that and spin the containers back up
I think there’s a third as well somewhere… He’s honestly one of my favorite running gags! Wherever there is forced labor he ends up
Very nice! I’m running the same thing with card mod!
Some nitpicks, your light buttons swap those to be left to right, then they’ll line up with the bar, or swap the header to swoop right. Same thing with the guages.
I also changed the headers to “Environmental”, “Ops”, “Engineering”, the wife loved that lol.
How did you do the graph in the bottom? Maybe there’s an update I don’t have…
To boldly go… and fix any random transporter accident
Are you using Docker? Forgive me if you know and understand docker - I’m just checking to make sure, but if you’re using Docker are you sure you set up your volumes correctly? Docker is stateless, so on any restart it would lose all of your info and be a clean install if you did not set up your volumes correctly
I’m the mod of !taylorswift@poptalk.scrubbles.tech and I approve this.
Yup, I’m in the car market and shit like this immediately makes it a no-buy.
Don’t forget Michael Dorn in Mass Effect
Getting mad at Alexander for not knowing his Klingon side when he had … Left him behind for at least 5 years.
He is the definition of an absent father. Don’t get me wrong Alexander is an annoying character IMO but I’m real happy worf ain’t my dad. My dad… Well he abandoned me too but still.
Him not getting the jeopardy hosting was a travesty
Sounds like all we’re waiting for is studios to pay their workers fairly then
Welcome to modern “journalism”
Remember folks, it’s not because of the strike, it’s because the people at the top don’t want to pay fair wages
Meh I don’t think Futurama really ever retcons anything. They always find a clever way around it
Picard S2 had a lot of things that weren’t great, but Q was not one of them. His performances were perfect, start to end, I always found myself wanting more of him (in the goddamnit Q way)
That’s actually pretty good… the techbro equivalent of “We did it!”
