I disagree. You would need like 30 tons of potassium and even then it’s still a gamble considering the age of the chickens.
My heart is icy ❄️ My mental state is dicey 🎲 But my shitposting is spicy 🌶️

That’s exactly what I’m into
They might as well be /c/section31 at this point
No Bajor below us
Above us only a fleet of Galor-class destroyers ready to seize our rightful place at the head of the Alpha quadrant
The Cardassian version of John Lennon’s “imagine”.
For sure, one thing I love about ST is how diverse the main characters are between shows. I wouldn’t want every captain to just just be a rehash of Sisko, Picard, Kirk or any of the others. Each captain’s uniqueness is that makes them interesting and captivating.
You’re correct objectively, however I think one of the things people (myself included) like about Sisko is that he’s flawed. He’s (imo) the most complex and developed captain and does let his emotions cloud his judgement from time to time but always means well. While Picard is my #2 fave, he’s more an ideal that casts such a massive shadow that nobody can live up to him. Picard perfectly encapsulates humanities ideals, whereas Sisko portays how flawed humanity truly is.
You are a beautiful person, I wish the world had more people like you in it.
Post as many memes as you want, they have really brightened my day. Your memes are actually funny and original, you should be proud.
Ah yes, Germany and Sweden. The last bastions for criminals all around the world. Oh wait, I’m 6-7 times as likely to be murdered in the US then those two places (Source).
I think most people agree that TNG is either at the top, or close to the top for best series. There’s also a smaller, diehard group that think DS9 is the best trek (myself included).
TNG is more adventurous where the crew is always on the side of morality and reason, and use wits and principles to overcome obstacles. Every episode is an adventure, and each adventure varies greatly from saving a planet from destruction or saving someone from their own mind. DS9 has larger, darker story arcs and more of a “sitcom” feel (in the best way possible) where the focus is more on the characters rather than the adventure. The episodes vary greatly in terms of theme, you could have an episode where you’re laughing every 2 minutes from the sheer silliness, or witness the most psychologically gut-wrenching thing you’ve seen in a long time. You can’t go wrong with either, and both have a bit of a rougher first couple seasons before they hit their stride.
As far as more recent trek, I enjoyed pretty much all of them but I would say strange new worlds is probably the cleanest and best for a new person. Lower decks is absolutely incredible but is more of a love letter to all the previous shows so you won’t get as much out of it as someone who has seen everything.
Imo, instead of asking why he didn’t step aside, I think the fault is on the studio executives for wanting to go in that direction in the first place. They clearly wanted a different direction to classic Trek, otherwise JJ wouldn’t have been their choice.
