There’s no point asking questions like this. Star Trek has routinely featured technology that is so powerful that it’s world-breaking, and then promptly ignored it. The greatest modern example is the spore drive from discovery, but TNG has several as well.
If that phase cloak thing was attached to photon torpedoes it would make them invincible as well since they could phase back beyond enemy shields. Or inside the enemy ship.
If you’re incapable of understanding the backdrop of basically all of the franchise, then yeah I guess not.

I would argue that despite the great DS9 episodes and stories, B5 had better stories overall. That being said most of DS9’s CGI aged pretty well. B5’s CGI…not so much. Not even the remastered version.
First release aside the vast majority of electronics depreciate steeply . Financing it in a time of high interest rates is… ridiculous.
