2 years agoAgreed, not just seems like such an oddity. But I believe the new USB-C iPad is 2.0, so whatever “hack” they did for that is probably what they’re doing for the iPhones. Seems almost like they rushed it with the incoming regulations.

I think the chances of that are pretty solid, but it will apparently still be USB 2.0 speeds.

I ended up buying a case for the remote that can also hold an AirTag, super handy when it’s jammed in the couch cushions.
