I used to have to put !g (redirect to Google) on like half my searches to get the results I wanted. These days, I actually generally prefer DDG’s results over Google’s.

I wonder how much of this idea that you can be “too old to learn” came from the advent of schooling and childhood education. Like, in a time before everyone went to school up until a certain age, did people still have this mindset?
Gonna second this. Unless you also install a 24/7 fume hood in your bedroom, the smell alone would be nauseating - not to mention toxic/carcinogenic.
Also, I don’t have an FDM printer, but I’ve heard even those aren’t good for bedroom use due to the fumes from the plastic.
Only problem here is that the repos in question are all hosted on a corporate service beholden to these ridiculous laws.
Like, I’m sure there are other places hosting emulators, but in this particular case.
Not sure I have an answer, but my group has an understanding that we’re all adults, and if someone needs to leave early or whatever, that’s totally cool. I have one friend that I don’t think has ever actually finished a game of MtG Commander lol.
Lmao even after providing a well explained answer, they still had to manually add the flag to their command for them.
FOSS recreation of the oldschool C&C games + Dune 2000.

Without a non-compete clause, I imagine if you changed it enough you’d be alright.
I personally know someone that has started essentially the same company multiple times, and just keeps selling the companies off. It’s different software each time, but it does essentially the same thing.
Honestly, I think I just want to see Majora’s Mask.
This can go one of two very different ways.
I’m personally hoping for a super dark, gritty movie that I know will never ever happen.
Love the minimalist design! Gameplay reminds me of Nidhogg.
Ngl I was going for worst possible stack. Not that either one is bad on its own, but like you said, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would choose this combo.
Can actionscript be used for a database?
Flask backend
Blazor frontend
Not an “expert” in testing per se, but I’m not sure I would ever attempt to “test” an interface. As you said, there is no implementation. You can only test implementation, so #2 in your list.
By delegating behind-the-scenes decision-making to AI algorithms[…]
This line is a bit confusing, because this doesn’t sound like it requires an “AI” in the LLM sense, it sounds like a few if-statements.
I would be curious to see how exactly an LLM could be integrated into a board game, but for that - as always - I’ll be keeping an eye on the indie space.
There’s no chance a corporation like Hasbro will do anything more than slapping the “AI” label on it and letting the shareholder dollars to roll in.
This was my choice when playing with people that aren’t good with English.
If you want more depth, 7 Wonders is very similar but has a lot more going on. Also mostly language-independent.
Hextraction seems like it would be pretty fun. Haven’t tried it myself yet, though.
