Between the 800 years and the Seven of Limes are two things showing that either Reno has paid a visit to the 24th century or the writers lost the plot.
The 800 years if rounded could line up with Seven of Nine’s Enterprise G.
That’s right, they all live forever in O’Brien’s pattern buffer.

I agree it’s bad if it’s the first time you’ve watching Star Trek. But it’s a reasonable experience if you are watching it for the second time though.
It’s not just how Takei played it, the first thing an inhibition-free Zulu does in The Naked Time is to go after Uhura - and Mirror Zulu obviously has the hots for her too.
He also has an omnipotent trickster god that decided to make him a better person as a hobby. There’s no way Q wouldn’t turn Picard’s casino trip into one of his “trials”.
The Vulcan Science Directorate dogmatic views are not logical, and proves that Vulcans are full of shit when they claim to be ruled by logic. In reality their main driver is fear (even that’s what drives them to try to suppress their emotions).
Star Trek TNG had a Space Loki on steroids driving key points of the plot so what’s the issue with a Space Yggrasil? Star Trek was never supposed to be hard sci-fi in the first place.
Concepts inspired by the idea of the World Tree are also common in other sci-fi works.

I’m fully convinced that Frakes directing is the only thing that prevented First Contact and Insurrection from being the dumpster fire that Nemesis was.
He directed The City on the Edge of Forever he just couldn’t take credit to preserve the timeline.
EDIT: And if you look carefully the Guardian of Forever construct is obviously Jeffrey Combs, though his voice was dubbed over.
Not exactly news, but he is an homophobic misogynist who systematically sexually harassed actresses in particular and harassed all workers around him in general. And on top of that he’s responsible for Star Trek Enterprise’s intro.
Yes you can. I keep mine in the oven.
It’s still the worst Star Trek Intro by far, and it sticks out as a sore thumb.
Well, it does have a court scene…
“Turnabout Intruder” has also been effectively retconned all the way to hell.
It’s to reduce the profile they expose to the planetary defenses.
- Star Trek Production Excuses Intern, probably
We need a version without text.
Spoiler
The “Look into my eyes and tell me if you see even the slightest glimmer of doubt” scene alone would ensure that.
