I’m surprised it got another season. I’m not sure if there was any episode I’d call good (or even decent) from season 11. While I’ve watched the series multiple times, I don’t see myself watching this next season.

That’s a weak defense of the season. The thing that made a lot of the classic episodes classics is that they are more or less timeless. If releasing the episode a year or two later means it’s not going to land well, then they should be rethinking the writing.
A great example is the iPhone episode. Its a bad episode because the premise was hardly interesting even when it was relevant, and it hasn’t aged well at all.
Yeah, I don’t disagree. Certainly not worth it at that price point for me.
Personally this set is a little unimpressive/boring. It’ll be interesting to see where they go from here cause the initial Mario sets were also lackluster.
While you may not like the new sets, I don’t think Lego has ever been cheap (source on price over time.
I think as kids, we just never realize how much things actually cost.
I didn’t know this was even being made, but looking on the Kickstarter it’s already sold out. Do you know if they’re making more?
I’ve used it before and it’s got it’s pros and cons. Ultimately the big thing is not all apps need to be the “killer app”. Some apps are pretty simple, so a one size fits all can be nice. It’s definitely not the same as developing natively, but for small teams/apps it’s not too bad.
Yeah, cause I should have rights with things I purchase. You’re allowed to record anything over the radio, you can record anything that comes over broadcast/cable TV. That’s not pirating that’s the law. Why should this be any different and why should it matter if I get it physically or digitally.
I guess it depends on what you call pirating. Is it okay for me to emulate switch games I own on my steamdeck? It prevents me from having to carry around two devices, and in some cases the games run better. I that situation I’ve paid everyone I’m supposed to.
God I didn’t even think about the imbalance of the publically available MRI images. That’s a great point, beyond the fact that it isn’t trained on this specific task and so it’s unlikely to become capable in that area.
Sync thing is a great resource if you want your files to be replicated across systems. I use it for files that I might work on while in different locations and devices.
Its basically a personal onedrive or Dropbox.
I personally think Keras has a nice and intuitive high level API for getting into nueral networks, but Pytorch is definitely the most prominent library. If your going to start somewhere you’re not going to regret learning Pytorch.
That being said, as others have mentioned, if you want to be a good data scientist or ML practioner learning the basics is never a bad idea. Sklearn is still the best library for a lot of ML tasks and is good to be familiar with.
There are a couple of good books out there that start off with the basics using numpy, pandas, Sklearn and build up to nueral networks/deep learning. I’ve use this one in the past https://www.amazon.com/Machine-Learning-PyTorch-Scikit-Learn-learning/dp/1801819319.
So am I not supposed to watch things I like?
For the new season it took me about a year to power through it, but I doubt I’ll ever watch it again. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to watch the older seasons though.
