How do you watch movies on it? Is there an app to support Plex/Jellyfin/etc servers or can read from DLNA/SMB shares? Can I watch 3D SBS movies on it?

No worries, I was curious if there’s some functionality I’m unaware of. I use it sporadically if I need to share some stuff with internet people and I don’t want to link them towards my Google Drive / iCloud / etc.
Mega is cloud storage, those others are not. Am I missing something? Mega, Plex, and real-debrid have totally different functions to me. The only relation is they’re tangential to piracy.
I still use Mega from time to time if I want to publicly share something I ripped. Seems like the best free cloud storage for that purpose.
Maybe it’s because I hate ads in general, but I don’t see what makes this one different than the other vapid ads forced on me. Seems no worse than them, so I don’t understand the uproar. Ads are frequently stupid and follow popular trends; big deal. You could have Scorsese direct a commercial and I’d still think it’s stupid.
Not really. Slightly faster? Sure. Hundreds of dollars faster? Absolutely not. You can get fast thumb drives for only a slight premium over the cheapest ones, which aren’t even that slow these days. They’re all solid state storage, dunno why you made that distinction.
I don’t think it is when cheap thumb drives are well above this and the phones are north of $1k.
I really enjoy my Apple devices, but to call 128GB a lot is ridiculous. Storage has absolutely stagnated. It’s 2024, these phones should be coming with 256 or 512GB for the insane price they cost. iPhones shoot 4K60 HDR video now, that space is hardly enough. Good for getting you onto an iCloud plan, though.

A fast lens is almost always beneficial. If you don’t need the shutter speed, you can drop the ISO for lower noise and better color. A long lens is only beneficial in certain situations, if you’re not shooting long it’s not helping.
That’s my rationale, at least.
I’d agree - given the choice between a 10x f/5 and a 5x f/2.8, I’m going with the fast lens every time.
Cable is slower than wireless - it’s USB2.0 vs wireless AC bandwidth
Connect with a USB cable or use a thumb drive to go between the two. It’s really simple.
