Yeah old cabinets are super cheap if you buy them second hand, a lot of businesses are just trying to get rid of them. I recommend the extra deep ones.
Good ol Velcro. Some underneath, some in between each drive so they stick together and some on top.
Was the cheapest solution I could think of and it offers some build in vibration dampening.
The AI would likely be trained or fine tuned specifically for COBOL. In these very narrow use cases AI can find some things that humans can miss.
