Don’t. Ender 3 is ancient garbage. I upgraded an ender 3 to a k1c and I’ll never go back. The only time I don’t get FLAWLESS prints is because the filament isn’t fast enough. I can print benchy in 30 minutes in the slow speed. And best of all I never have to fuck with it. Ever.
Are you familiar with WLED and ESPHome? You generally have two sets of pin outs, analog [pwm] and digital. You can hook almost anything up if you program your pin-outs to respond correctly. If you’re trying to get into programming on the ESP32, start with some Arduino programs. They both use the same C libraries.
oh I always thought alice in wonderland was the screen adaptation of through the looking glass… i feel dumb :-D
… Alice in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll???
you can’t just tickle my butthole like that and nto tell me what the name of the series is!
nothing says starfleet like tank warfare.
fuck nintendo. i should probably leave this community as i doubt ill give nintendo another dollar of my money.
I think both would ultimately be a trying experience but at least the Romulan has brought some ale.
Ever since I got a K1C it’s made me realize how much time I wasted learning how to build and setup an Ender 3. I’ll never fuck with anything lesser ever again and the price difference isn’t substantial enough to warrant recommending a budget printer, ever.
I get a perfect print, every time.
There was definitely the occasional tom-foolery with publishers and designers here and there but it was also generally never at the expense of game play.
They made gaming a chore.
Games used to be a simple concept, and fun to play. I still play Tetris more than anything else by a huge margin. Imma go play a round right now.
It will be much easier with a resin printer but controlling for the microscopic pitch shift that would take place with any amount of shrinkage would probably necessitate a specialty printer.
HA! I also just went from an Ender 3 to a big boy K1C and I can tell you mine has 3 z-screws that it uses in conjunction with a pressure sensor on the nozzle so it knows EXACTLY where it is and can adjust each screw independently to level the bed. It’s fucking genius and it makes my ender look like a model T with a crank start, damn near literally.
I grabbed a 3 v2 neo and it’s got all the upgrades already done.
Try starting at 215/65 with a PEI bed and then tune it down slowly until you start getting bed adhesion and/or warping issues.
OH!! Are you leveling with the bed and nozzle pre-heated? This is absolutely essential and so many guides don’t list this as a crucial step. There’s a shit ton of thermal expansion going on and you want to calibrate the space for the same conditions you’re going to be printing in.
There’s a million possibilities but there are some essential upgrades that make the Enders shine – a PEI print bed and upgraded leveling wheels. I also find the recommended settings of 200/50 to be… inadequate. When I was printing with my OEM nozzle generally was printing at 210/62 and with my diamond tip I now print at 205/55 but still way higher than the default values in Cura.
I didn’t watch it.
