The interpreter or compiler could also introduce memory issues into the code. Much less likely to happen, but it is not unknown.
I sit next to a DBA and it can be really feast or famine for him. If there are patches to install or a failure of some sort he may work a 12 hour day. Other times he is just monitoring systems and reviewing performance reports, maybe 4 hours work. If he is involved with a development effort, then it is more engaging work and more of an 8 hour day.
I also do this so the variables are more easily spotted.
I am not sure when this started, but google searches now sort by paid content first rather then relevant content first, so Stack Overflow started to drop down into page 2 or more.
What could possibly go wrong with locking yourself into an environment owned by Amazon, or Google or Microsoft?
