The only devices I have that are on Wi-Fi are ones I got before learning about HA. Zigbee FTW 👍
Those can be had for pretty cheap these days, or you can order custom printed parts from some online services. Plus, some libraries have them now, free or cheap to use.

It’s definitely risky, but I did do it successfully in a pinch (have a dedicated drying box now)
Yes and yes. You can either get a specialized filament dryer or do it at extremely low temperatures in your oven (look up a guide for this first)
I also print PETG at bed temperatures like this, no problems with it
