My sex toy lives in Canada!
Yes but that wouldn’t make sense for Ender anyways. They’d still have to hire an Industrial Designer and other related professionals to take the existing design and improve the user experience. As another user commented, printers aren’t targeted for mass market so the considerations for a mass market (well defined affordances, ease of use) won’t be considered.
Me until I got a P1S. I can now print entire single layer sheets of PLA at 256x256mm ❤️
You are looking for Design Affordances. Objects or symbols that indicate how you can interact with the object.
Companies usually hire trained Industrial Designers for this stuff. It’s why Apple and other companies like it are so popular (and pricey). Industrial Designers cost money and a lot of these printer manufacturers consider it an extra cost since these are subtle things when compared to the manufacturing and mechanical design of the printer.
Love it. I’d love if the edges were all filleted but that’s cause I’m a sucker for curves.
I’ve owned and used 2 other printers before the one I’m currently using. Always had struggles with bed leveling and first print adhesion. Tried tape, tape with glue stick coverings, hair spray, messing with temp settings, you name it.
I bought a Bambulab P1S and I’ve only needed to level the bed once. Immaculate first layers. It’s a whole different class of machine.
Save up your money and get a better printer. They truly make a world of a difference.
Me neither as of today lol. My account was logged into this morning and all my browsers and devices were deleted from their recognized device list and my passwords were all reset haha.
I’m officially off Meta as well. Now to notify all my relatives that my account is no longer mine.
I posted on Facebook marketplace and it was sold within a day. I live in a town with 3,000 people in it. Facebook is the internet to most people here. Try there.
OnShape
If you want a simple no bullshit works out of the box 3D printer then Flashforge Adventurer 3 or similar. Pretty affordable, decent quality prints, minimal fussing.
I will say though that the printers get harder to use as time goes on and you have to start playing with temperatures, rafts, other annoying things as the bed warps. Great for learning though. I’ll probably upgrade to something more serviceable since my Flashforge has increased my printing appetite.
Second OnShape. If you’re familiar with fusion 360 or solid works it has a very similar workflow. Also on the cloud so OS agnostic (big plus if you’ve got different OSs on your computers)
They lose a potential subscriber in us, and Crave loses a return subscriber
This is a hot load of shit.
My household purchased a yearly subscription to Crave as it contained all the Star Trek content and a bunch of HBO shows that my wife likes.
Removing this content will just mean my Plex server will go brrr a little more. I’m slightly inconvenienced, and Paramount+ and Crave just lost another subscriber. Big brain move by these services.
First you start with the porn. Then they will cum.
Impressive
