Just a little guy interested in videogames, reading, technology and the environment.
I’m on Telegram - feel free to ask for my details :3

Many thanks for explaining this in detail! I think I understand, but it probably makes more sense as you play it. Sounds a bit like the colour picross puzzles in the S series?
Game looks great (visually, and as a puzzle game). I’ll definitely look into emulating it if it’s possible.
The Steam Deck does have touchpads on both sides so yes that could work. How does the 3D version work?
I’ve never played that one! Would it left itself to emulation or did it require the 3D feature of the 3DS?
I’m on S3 - I’ve done all except the biggest standard puzzles, and I’ve been working though the mega and colour picross. One day I’ll get there…
You’re right, that’s a good way to look at it. I don’t think I’ll come anywhere near to completing all the standard Picross S games any time soon
I can’t keep up with all this Picross 😨
So I finished Leon’s ‘half’ of the story yesterday. It was great! Loved all the puzzles (which had a classic videogame feel to them) as well as the various settings. It’s a beautiful looking game and the gunplay is very satisfying.
I was a bit disappointed to learn that playing as Claire is just the same thing again, although it does have a few different story beats. I don’t mind too much though as it seems like a fun game to play through multiple times.
This seems like a great way to remake an old game. Reminds me of FF7 remake in some respects.
I’m currently away from home and I’ve downloaded Resident Evil 2 (remake) onto my Steam Deck. I’m an hour or so in loving it so far! I’ve only ever played RE4 (the original version) before and it feels quite different - less incentive to shoot enemies.
Ahh that makes sense. Sounds like a fun way to progress through the game!
I’m quite happy to see picross games from Jupiter on Steam (though I guess they can’t call them Picross, if that’s a Nintendo IP)
As long as it has picross puzzles I’d happily buy it!
Ooh interesting! Great to see more from Jupiter. After watching the trailer, I’m a bit confused as to how the word puzzle/fusion thing works though 🤔
MGS2 and 3 are running at 1080p, which is widescreen right? I think they’re just ports of the Xbox 360 remasters, which gave the originals widescreen support.
Wow great collection! Do you have a favourite console and/or game?
13 Sentinels is really great so far! The animations are beautiful. There are some slightly cringey anime tropes/fanservice at points but it’s not too bad. After the introduction the game lets you choose whether you’d prefer to advance the plot or play the Fire Emblem-esque battles. Having this choice is nice - sometimes I just want to relax with the visual novel side for example.
I haven’t played any TOTK in a few weeks - I’ve been distracted by other games! But I should probably play some more. Besides that I’ve been enjoying 13 Sentinels, Battlebit and a bit of Minecraft on the side.
Yes Murder by Numbers is excellent! I highly recommend it if you like picross and Ace Attorney
Yeah I’d also never heard of that one. I’m not a big fan of the really small puzzles though. I’ve got enough Picross to last years from the mainline series anyway :D
Love this series. I’ve played nonogram games on other platforms, but nothing comes close to the level of quality Jupiter puts out.
Hope they do end up making more collaborations!
It’s possible I saw it but just forgot, with the number of games currently on my radar. Hearing about it again has reignited my interest though! Will keep an eye on it
