When a license agreement like this ends, I think there’s a lot of issues with putting out a statement that throws anyone in particular under the bus. Could negate the chance of a future renegotiation.

My best guess is that the music sold in the game is licensed, and that agreement is ending. Some license holders just aren’t very agreeable to extended sale.
What? That’s an excellent reason to restrict a weapon.
I’m reminded of the RE4 remake. They added a cool parry system, but with practice it becomes too reliable, turning enemies into a non-threat. By adding limited durability to the knife, they get players to prioritize offense, only use parries as a last resort, and use all their resources proactively.
GAA made sense to leave names as they were, as the story was very explicit about who was Japanese or not. But AAI2 would likely be using invented names to fit with the current localization theme - “Phoenix Wright”, not “Naruhodo Ryuichi”. If they use a name like Simon Keyes, it would infringe on fan copyrights, and if they don’t, they miss on most awareness of that character and a clever naming opportunity. That’s what I mean about a translation naming issue.
I feel like there’s two main issues with it:
The first two games in this huge series were some of my favorites. But I had to leave as they got too wrapped up in labyrinthine villain plots, blue-hair-sword-boy harems, and poor writing of female characters.
That’s not to say there’s not a lot to love, though. I just can’t imagine reentering at this point unless they’ve gone through a big reset of both their writing approach and their character development.
Apparently the second DLC for Mario + Rabbids 2 just dropped - the one with Rayman. I almost thought Ubisoft had abandoned the game. Just grabbed the season pass for $20.
Depending on how you see it, I still think that game kinda got unfairly disregarded. The first was fun, and the second innovated on some good ideas.
The one thing that feels hard to parse about this inventive tool is how opening it has him dash forward.
Definitely seems like some cool levels and bosses, plus some semblance of a story. Could be worth a look.
I was venturing in the desert, and didn’t have anything good to stave off the heat yet. Found the tools for a vehicle, and added on a hydrant, so it would constantly spray Link with water.
I often make gliders to get around, but launching them is an issue with their high stony friction. So, I take out some pieces of meat, use an ice attack on them, and then (Don’t pick them up! They’re not Materials so you can’t drop them) weld them onto the bottom of my vehicle. Now, it essentially has a slick ice block on the bottom and can launch pretty easily.
It’s fun looking at the many giant mechs people make, but for practical Zonai combat, I’ve just made a simple autotank; using those homing tread things, with an electric horn on it. To increase its range and spread, I attached a random metal spear sideways onto its tip to make it harder for a monster to walk past it. The resulting creation is only about 9 zonaite, so I can actually make several of them for a fight.
They might’ve been highlighting that they didn’t offer any gravy or whipped cream with the turkey and pumpkin pie. To some, condiments are everything.
