How are you up for jank solutions? How about hanging some colour combination locks on a board or something?

This is pretty awesome, but I wonder if I’ll ever have the time to take this. xD
Never thought I’d see someone call an Apple product lineup bloated. xD
That’d make sense, since it’s only a small group of people who’ll get it. Probably a phone they’ll release every 3 years or so.
Not me, count me as an enthusiast who wants bigger phones. My ideal is a 2340x1080 screen at 6.7" or even 6.8".
Ooo, you can do that with Wyze? That’d be the best of both worlds. I’ll go search on it, but if you have any advice, I’m all ears.
I guess, I just felt a bit uneasy. I suppose the feeling of redundancy made it feel a bit weird for me, like, this is almost not-a-board-game, or the why-are-we-not-at-the-computer-instead feeling.
Sorry, it really is about the feels here, I don’t have a better set of reasons to give.
Well, the line is there because at some point, you wonder if there’s a need for a board at all.
I think the neatness of board games is also in having some level of self-contained mechanics. A companion app to help keep track of stuff, or add some value (ie music or narration) is neat, but this was like, more than half of the mechanics in the app. The map tiles weren’t even needed, as were the location tokens and frankly, the really neat minatures. It was just a few steps from being a completely digital game.
Tried Destinies; it’s one of those hybrid boardgame and app things. While interesting, it did leave me a bit conflicted, since a lot of the functionality of the “game” is in the app. It does make me wonder where the line should be drawn on those things.
It really depends on the instructions provided. Sometimes it’s not so well-written. xD
Closed-back headphones and ANC are nothing new, and the Bose QC line (which I assume is what the previous commentator has), are indeed closed-back ANC headphones.
I found your attempts to explain somewhat condscending, and also feel like it’s treating the Airpods like they’re some revolutionary product, which they’re not. Feel free to correct me if that was not your itention.
As did I, my biggest problem now is how to keep and transport that Nesting box that they came up with!
Arkham Horror LCG is exactly that. A 2 player GM-less RPG told through a CCG-lite.
I’ve got Hardback, which is closer to deckbuilding with a lighter word-building focus, and I think is more accessible for those who aren’t into word games as much, as usually you won’t need to build very long words unlike with Paperback. Both are great games though!
Took me too long to find this. In addition, the base game is plenty good, and it’s not expensive. I feel like getting a second set as a stand alone “sacrificial set”, just to bring around, unsleeved.
Well, no worries for now, there’s plenty of content to sift through in the short-term. Will also check out the Discord at some point.
Oh, this is really neat. I like using the digital versions of the game to test out the game before buying the physical ones. Usually there’s either a demo or it’s much cheaper anyway.
Edit: Seems like the content production has slowed down in 2023?
I guess it depends on region, but in mine Lost Ruins of Anark, Terraforming Mars, and Scythe were pretty cheap. Also saw Patchwork on a decent discount.
Well damn, there’s a Hero Realms app now? Going to download that, thanks!
It does technically fufill most of OP’s requirements though. xD
