Forty years later, people figured out that the nerds were making more money than God. Then nerd wasn’t such a bad thing.
Assuming it would still work after all these years, I regret selling my Apple IIc back in the eighties. I miss those simple games and emulators just aren’t the same.
Reality is that it wouldn’t still work and all those bottom shelf floppies that I used to liberate games would have long since degraded.
Not gaming console, but the first time I played a CD on my computer in the nineties, I thought I was witnessing the end of technology. Then when Primus released Tales from the Punchbowl on CD-ROM with the interactive stuff, I thought this was surely it. Technology could proceed no further.
