Still overkill and uses way to much power. Now, as a server that just happens to also be a retroconsole… :')
The real deal y0

Oh wait, youre giving me great theoretical ideas here. I didnt think about it untill now but ( atleast in central europe ) a lot of cosplayers use eva in its foam form to craft a lot of their costumes or props. If a printable eva exists, they would no longer need to do the cutting and puzzling of eva foam boards. Print it like how you need it!
I can see why you wrote a paper on it and is very cool to hear about!
Also never heard the stratasys story before lol
Huh, til.
Also, it was interesting to see all the issues he had with it, but i can see its uses. Like you said though, messy as hell
I hate to say it to ya, but people are you are why they can get away with it. I feel your pain though, i couldnt imagine what would happen if vlc were to go this low. Id have no replacement i like as much as vlc hebe
This post kinda infuriates me. Gary bowser is not an innocent, fragile little guy here. He is the sock puppet of Max Louarn, the basically mob boss of all major piracy groups in the world.
Gary is also part of the gang ( that max also owns ) that is working on new switch piracy hardware, months after he got out of jail.
They were also caught selling open source software that was breaking its copyright license, while including their own code that could brick switch systems and more.
This is not a story of big bad company vs small fragile guy. Not even close.
Captn’, im upvoting as much as i can!
Thank you very much!!
Waiting for the report with some nice screenshots 😄
^ this is a very good tip that ive been using myself too
Ive been using podman on my nas, and i like it.
It has its issues, but knowing your containers dont run as root just makes me feel more at ease. I dont really understand why a docker should run as root, if the software in the container often run as their own user…
And here i am, striving to become like tim in my professional life ( + being tech lead ). People like that are undervalued assets in any team
… Except this team has had linux running since the m1, which was way before last year :p
But i agree, its been moving fast
Ye, youre overthinking it. Gameboy cartridges are basically 32 contacts to a memory controller (if any) and a rom/ram chip. Nothing more, nothing less
It all depends on your needs tbh. I personally think the framework mobo is perfect for a powerful 24/7 server. Smb, router, media center, …
I personally dont need something like that and just have an sbc running pihole and smb 24/7 ( +/- 8w@230v power usage )
