Goatse, his cheeks spread.
Goatse, his cheeks spread.
It’s Disney now, and it’s worth it to keep around for the merchandising alone, I suspect.
Oh, thanks for the correction. I thought that was the Joke but it was just Leela doing Peg again then.
Leela’s voice actress played Peggy Bundy on Married with Children. Ed O’Neill played Al Bundy and is playing the shape shifter pretending to be one of Leela’s supposed alien race (she’s not an alien, but she didn’t know that yet then). They are re-enacting the look and dynamic of Married with Children in this scene.
EDIT: I was mistaken, the voice actor is not Ed O’Niell, as kindly pointed out below.
The original experiment was with braindead frogs so yeah, you’re right.
The first Mass Effect. That moment when Sovereign speaks… instant goosebumps. (“Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.”) This also presupposes that I haven’t played the other parts as well of course. I actually played the second one before the first one back in the day.
Well, poor guy/girl is probably from a reality where Kurt Russell did play the lead in Vanilla Sky and is now having an identity crisis.
As far as I know that’s pretty much on point on how transporters work. There is an episode of TNG where someone was stuck in the energy state and conscious and saw energy beings living there. Of course then there is also the case of the two Rikers which seems to show that copying a person is indeed possible under very specific circumstances (I think there was some interference with exotic energy or something).
Somebody gets a plague.
Burnham: I’ve been raised by Vulcans, that’s why I’m always acting logical. Next scene: Burnham starts another intergalactic war with her erratic behaviour.
I know the second is the groundbreaking one, but I always had a soft spot for this one.
