Rereleases that utilise an emulator released by the rights holders is absolutely not the same as a general purpose emulator and you know it.

I grew up with SNES games on a CRT and would absolute choose sharp pixels over a CRT filter. Blur hurts my eyes just thinking about it.
Autofill on Android is just generally terrible. Password fields are basically never recognised.
It’s not available for self hosted music streamers like Logitech Media Server or Mopidy so I can’t use it around the house.
I’d be subscribed to Apple Music of it were available on more platforms. It’s definitely my favourite music streaming service and I’ve tried A LOT.
I don’t even run docker. I just run the Debian packages.
Depends on the platform I’m emulating and what I’m emulating on. Anything on Android I use the Backbone One. For PC, if I’m emulating older 2D systems I’ll use an 8BitDo Pro 2. Newer 3D systems them it’ll be the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro.

I owned Banjo Kazooie very briefly as a child but I think my dad sold it. Replayed it on XBLA years later and loved it. I wish I experienced it at the time along with the other great N64 games.
Wii U is probably the safest bet as it can natively play GameCube and Wii games with easy emulation for the rest of the systems.
