An official repair center did, right? At least where I’m from you can only get service from authorized centers.
And authorized repair shop is not the same as Apple itself. And without knowing the repair shop itself we do not know if it was actually an Apple certified repair shop. There was one in my town that the guy just printed up a sign that said he was.
You are partially right, but in my country, Apple doesn’t have official stores. The only way to get Apple devices repaired is through authorised partners. I don’t know if might be the same in this case…
