If I receive an email on my Mac, then the email address that received it is written out as “To:” So I can distinguish between Gmail and Outlook.
But the mail app on my phone only shows that it is for me “To: FinancesDrone” which is annoying. Is there a possibility to change that?
You must log in or register to comment.
Tap on FinancesDrone on your iOS device, scroll down and the email address will be marked as “recent”.
Remove one as a contact if you have it in your contact card. Or create a new contact with that email and name that contact the email address.
If you click on the recipient name to go to your contact entry, there will be a “recent” flag on the address the email was sent to.
I agree that this is pretty annoying behavior, though.
